Hello, my name is Cheyenne Whaley. I am the 2008-2009 Indiana Junior Rodeo Princess. I am an 8 grader at Eastern Greene Middle School.      I have been active in rodeo since Kindergarten. While competing in rodeo. I have won All-Around Cowgirl during the 2001-2002 rodeo season. I have also won Reserve All-Around Cowgirl during the 2000-2001 and 2002-2003 rodeo seasons.      I am also active in softball,cheerleading,and FFA at school. I show goats,swine,sheep,and horses at the Monroe County 4-H Fair. I also compete in the National Barrel Horse Association. My rodeo events are Pole Bending, Team Roping, Barrel Racing, Goat Tying, Ribbon Roping, and Breakaway Roping. My two favorite events are definitely Pole Bending and Team Roping.      My family and friends are very supportive of my rodeo plans. My Mom and Dad are always helping me practice, get ready for rodeos, and are willing to give up their free time to drive me all over the state of Indiana and even out of state for Wrangler Rodeos.      You can contact me if any of you would like to carry a flag, sing the National Anthem, have any ideas for some fun little activities, or even for fundraisers.      I am very excited to represent the wonderful state of Indiana as I.J.R.A.
