K-1-2 Age Category ONLY (Jackpot Event Only - Not for Points)

 

A.    TIME LIMIT: Sixty (60) Seconds

        Time will begin when the Contestant calls for time to begin (by nodding his/her head) and the starting flag is dropped.  Time will stop when Judge drops flag.

B.    Two Bales: One with calf head and one with steer head.

1.  Contestant must designate which head(s) he/she will be roping when entering.

C.          Contestant must stand behind three (3)-foot line.

D.          Judged by how many clean/legal catches Contestant has within the 60-second time limit.

1.  Loop must pass completely over calf or steer head in order to be judged a clean/legal catch.

2.  Slack in rope must be pulled tight in order to count.
